Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Coralville, IA

Our room was quiet and comfortable. We were in the corner room on the top floor. I liked the breakfast over all, although the eating area felt a bit crowded since there was a sizable group in the center both days, and I could not find a seat on the second morning when I went down there. But I just brought the food up to our room. I thought the price was very reasonable (although we had to pay more to get an air conditioned room), and the location good for what we were doing in the Iowa City area.

Friendly service at check-in. Clean, quiet room and hotel. All well-kept. Nice extra that in addition to the rocking chairs out front also provided a separate outdoor "smoking area" with comfortable chairs under a gazebo/pavillion. Pool was nice for a bit of relaxation, had its own towels available. Breakfast offered a bite for all kinds of eaters. Easy to get to from the interstate exit. There is an aldi and fast-food joint neighboring. Across the main road -three minute drive- there is a filling station, shopping area, a steak-house and a tex-mex (which we liked). And more around the corner.

The staff was amazing! The breakfast was very good each morning. I was at the pool and jacuzzi every night relaxing which I pretty much had all to myself. This was a family trip as we were visiting our daughter who's going to school at U of Iowa. We took a trip to Waterloo to John Deere museum and visited the Riverside casino. Both great places when our daughter was busy. Also nearby Walmart was huge and had everything we forgot.

The check-in process was easy. The staff was friendly, well-mannered, and dressed as if they were proud of their occupation. The rooms were excellent for the price paid for a double queen, which my family enjoyed. There are nearby eating establishments in the nearby area. The hotel was well-maintained inside and out, which made the stay pleasurable. The breakfast dining area was better than expected, with roomy seating and plenty of food options.

This is my second stay at this hotel. As before, the staff was very friendly, the rooms are very nice and the bed was comfortable. It is near a few different resturaunts and is convienently located near the main highway and gas stations.
